Y&R spoilers for the week of August 15 reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will test Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) loyalty. When Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) tells Chance that there is “game-changing” evidence in Ashland Locke’s (formerly played by Robert Newman) death, it could complicate the situation.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) meets Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales). Talia is doing a story for a magazine on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Both Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are sure Talia will be able to dig up Diane’s secrets. However, someone will interfere with the investigation.

Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), they will continue to fight. It is teased that Lily will get worried about the increasing tension between the two. So, she might try to resolve the issue.

Over with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she catches Chance in a compromising position. As for Nick, he will consider confessing everything he knows regarding Ashland’s case.

During the week of August 22, Adam will recruit Lucas (Aaron Schwartz). It is teased that Adam will put Lucas to work in a dirty scheme. Phyllis makes a new friend while Chelsea crosses the line.

It sounds like Chelsea will go ahead and make sure Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) learn the truth. However, if Chelsea doesn’t have Victoria’s approval, this could cause a lot of problems.
