Y&R spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) wasn’t having any luck getting rid of Diane on her own. Nikki tried to recruit Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to dig up dirt on Diane. However, Michael has a soft spot for Diane and raved about how she got Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) arrested as well as protected Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told Nikki that he didn’t want Michael’s focus divided. Even though Ashland was eliminated, which Michael confirmed to Victor, the story isn’t over. It is teased that Victor will be busy covering his tracks. This means Nikki has to find another way to get rid of Diane.

Y&R Spoilers – Marchetti Plan Fails?

Nikki loves Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) idea of getting a job at the new Marchetti. Phyllis will ask Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) if the previously offered position is still available. Summer would love to give her mother a job but knows it’s another scheme to target Diane.

Summer’s career is important to her, and she doesn’t want any more drama. So, Phyllis might not be able to follow through with her Marchetti scheme. Even if Phyllis does get a job at the new Marchetti, Summer might make sure she gets nowhere near Diane.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – New Investigator Hits Genoa City

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nikki and Phyllis will get help from another source. Talia Morgan will be introduced into the soap for a few episodes. The character will be played by Natalie Morales.

Talia is an investigative reporter who will be looking into Diane’s past. Speaking on CBS’ “The Talk,” Morales said,

“I am investigating Diane Jenkins, played by Susan Walters. You know, she’s the one who faked her own death. She’s returned recently to Genoa City after being gone for 10 years. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”

So far, nobody has been able to prove that Diane was up to no good in Los Angeles. However, that might be because Diane wasn’t just going by Taylor Jensen. It is speculated that Diane might have gone by other names, which could be where the truth is hidden.

There is also the suspicion that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) might not be as innocent as she appears. So, we will have to stay tuned for Talia’s first appearance on Wednesday, August 17. What will Talia discover and how will it affect Diane’s relationships?
