The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Nate Hastings doing yet one more thing to tick off an always-particular Devon Hamilton, who often gets angry over very small things.

Perhaps Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) should have stayed in medicine. Sure, he couldn’t be a surgeon anymore due to what a ticked off Devon (Bryton James) did to his hand the night he learned that Nate slept with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) while she was still involved with Devon. But Nate was doing just fine as a doctor who didn’t perform surgery. Well, maybe not just fine since he did truly believe that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi and Robert Newman) had cancer. Still, he did not have to go from doctor to executive just like that.

However, that’s exactly what Nate did and he is enjoying himself at Chancellor-Winters. Too bad Devon isn’t enjoying him being there considering that Nate likes to do things without consulting Devon. Oh no! That can’t happen in Devon’s life.

Nate Makes Devon Angry

Nate first made Devon question his decision to hire him at the Chancellor-Winters launch party where Nate announced a new series of podcasts without consulting anyone. Now, he tells Devon he booked an act for a Chicago music festival after Devon already booked the same act in Los Angeles. Well, this just cannot be and Devon decides to have a talk with Nate as things don’t seem to be working out with Nate’s new gig.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Devon also feels Nate making these mistakes s hurtful to their new company’s reputation and tells Nate so.

“It’s about how unprofessional this makes them look, like they don’t know what they are doing,” Bryton James said in the August 9, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Devon tells Nate they have to do damage control because Nate once again didn’t listen. But Nate thinks Devon is over reacting, which really frustrates him.”

According to James, Devon feels Nate is taking advantage of the fact that they are cousins to basically do what he wants but that isn’t going to fly for Devon. He doesn’t see things getting any better, either. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
