The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 1, 2022, reveal Jack trying to solve the mystery of Diane and how on Earth she is still alive.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Connects The Dots

It was a shock to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) system when he came face to face with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), the mother of his son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and a woman he believed Nikki Newman killed years ago. In fact, Diane seemed very, very dead so this is not something he understands at all.

Usually, when someone returns from the dead, it’s because they never found the person’s body and it was assumed they were dead. This time, everyone saw the body, and Diane’s death affected poor Kyle forever. Jack has to do some thinking to figure out what really happened and it’s a doozy.

He also has to call Kyle and let him know that his mother is alive. How does he tell his son such a thing? Jack then has to do some more thinking to prepare himself for this moment. We are assuming this is what brings Kyle flying back to Genoa City as fast as he can.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Feels Like She’s In The Dark

After breaking up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)at the end of 2021, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) put Jack firmly in the friend zone but then became obsessed with knowing he was sending these mysterious text messages to Jack. But now Jack is in Los Angeles without her and she is dying to know what’s going on.

So, Phyllis commiserates with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and she learns what’s been going on with the Newmans of late. This means that Nick Newman was right about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) all the time and she condemned him for not letting his sister live her life. Although Phyllis is now on TeamJack, she can’t help but think about what she missed out on with Nick.

They fought over Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) left and right and that could have led to their breakup. Does this mean Phyllis will be torn between two men? Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
