The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for next week show that explosions will be felt all over Genoa City, Wisconsin as a favorite son comes home and two leading ladies get into it. The show’s hot new video promo reveals that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) shows up a little worse for wear but alive, and Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) move into catfight territory. Elsewhere, Jack and his newfound granddaughter meet mere hours after saying a forever goodbye.

Michael Baldwin’s loved ones were afraid they would never see him again after doing Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) bidding in Peru. Luckily Michael has nine lives and he shows up just in time to shock his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and brother Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) speechless. “Hello gorgeous,” he says to Lauren and we’re sure that whatever Victor is paying him is not enough.

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is seen hugging it out with her fiendish hubby Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). “This means the world to me,” he tells her, “you have no idea.” Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) look on in disbelief and Nick spits out, “what the hell!” Can anything or anyone get through to numbskull Victoria or is she playing Ashy like a fiddle?

Elsewhere, gorgeous and indignant Ashley Abbott is back in town berating Phyllis for egging on her emotionally vulnerable brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She tells her she is not pleased that his long lost granddaughter, “appears out of nowhere,” when Jack is reeling from the death of his estranged son Keemo. Red looks totally unimpressed with her dressing down.

She was with Jack in LA and saw his anguish. For days. And days. As the fans watched the paint dry in the living room of Keemo’s house. Literally. Now it looks like the moribund plot is about to pick up with a back from the dead arrival that will shock Jack to his core.

Ashley isn’t done with Phyllis, she tells her why is she not surprised that Red is encouraging Jack to pursue this relationship. Then she tells Phyllis real slow, “What. Are. You. Thinking?” Meow!

Finally, Jack is seen telling granddaughter Allie (Kelsey Wang), “I was hoping that spending time together would be good for both of us.” Allie looks like a deer in the headlights. Didn’t she just tell him don’t call me, I’ll call you, maybe?
