So, Lily is going to come crashing down soon. That was hinted by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) during a recent episode. Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) reaction to the merger was another clue.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) took a hit at ChancComm. Even though Lily and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) never authorized the exposé to be published, the hacked email would look different to a judge. With Ashland filing a lawsuit and the publication’s tarnished reputation, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had to take drastic action.

Since then, Lily was offered a huge position at Chancellor Industries. Jill knew that Lily didn’t do anything wrong at ChancComm and handled everything as well as she could under the circumstances. However, Billy wouldn’t be Lily’s equal but would need to take orders from her. Right now, Jill is singing Lily’s praises and the job is going perfectly.

As far as Lily is concerned, her relationship is also doing great. Billy seems to be a changed man and is trying to let go of his issues. However, trouble is brewing.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton’s Concern

Lily suggested a merger to Devon and Jill is completely on board. In fact, when Devon was hesitant, Jill video chatted with him and encouraged him to do it. Then, Devon talked to Lily about his concerns. One of his worries was if something went wrong and how it could affect their relationship. However, Lily promised that she would walk away from her job if it came down to that.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Billy seems semi-content but isn’t exactly happy. While Billy is spontaneous, driven and takes risks, that is who he is. Granted, some of his schemes have gone too far. At the same time, that kind of personality has brought him success when it’s harnessed and thought out properly.

Billy starting a podcast and having insomnia are two clues that he’s settling. Billy needs something to be passionate about and a project that gets him excited each day. Billy also seems to be struggling with Lily not telling him everything until the last minute, which is what she did with the merger proposition. Likewise, Billy is holding back during his conversations with Lily.

Y&R Spoilers – Bonds Broken

Devon dropped a pretty big hint that something is going to go wrong with the merger. Plus, fans can’t ignore how Amanda reacted when Devon told her he agreed to it. Amanda seemed concerned and she might have a bad feeling about it. So, this could be a big mistake for both Devon and Lily.

As for Lily and Billy’s relationship, finding out about Ashland could change everything for the couple. Billy will want to zoom in and protect Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle). With Victoria’s heart about to be shattered, it would only be natural for her to lean on Billy.

With Billy feeling that he can’t be his authentic self with Lily personally or professionally, could the relationship fizzle? It seems like Lily has risen a bit too fast to the top without any obstacles. That’s a sure sign that she will come crashing down soon. How will she recover when her career, sibling bond and romantic relationship all fall apart at once?
