As time goes on, Michael becomes more ingrained in Victor’s assignments. Lauren’s instincts were accurate, and Michael has finally gone too far.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) thought he killed Ashland. However, in the Thursday, July 27 episode, Michael reports back to Victor. Michael tells Victor that Ashland’s car was found. When Victor asks if Ashland was inside the car, Michael nods. Both men get a sinister smirk, indicating that Ashland has been permanently eliminated.

It was stated that Michael would turn back to his old ways. It began with Michael wanting revenge for being framed and imprisoned in Peru. However, it has turned into something much darker.

Y&R Spoilers – The Last Straw?

Even though Michael will try to hide his actions from Lauren, she is a smart woman. Lauren will be able to figure out what Michael has done. Lauren knows that Michael wanted revenge on Ashland, which she didn’t blame him for. However, Lauren will draw the line at arranging someone’s murder – even a villain like Ashland Locke.

Lauren will probably tell Michael that he has turned into someone she doesn’t even recognize anymore. Lauren might even leave Michael. However, a destroyed marriage might not be Michael’s only problem. This could turn into a huge legal issue, especially if Ashland’s murder is blamed on Nick or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
