Y&R Spoilers: Kyle Growing Into A Man? Here’s Why I Think He Should Be More Like His Father

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that it looks like Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor) may finally become a man, and break away from his childish, whining typical-self. Let’s be honest, he’s been a punk most of his life, and while he has had some moments, he has mostly been annoying.

I think we may have gotten a glimpse at who he could become when he confronted Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) at his hotel room. Kyle took the initiative to stand up for his mother, and it was very cool to see him go toe to toe with someone like that, and maybe a touch scary.

There’s something about Jack that screams family man, and someone who knows right from wrong. We’ve seen it time and time again over the years and his feud with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has raged. Sure, he’s lost his temper a few times… thrown a chair out of a window. But all in all, Jack has seemingly been the more rational one.

While Kyle did step up and accept the responsibility of raising his child (kudos), there is still much more we would like to see from Kyle in the coming future, and him confronting Stark was a big moment for him.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Needs To Be More Like His Father

There’s no secret that Kyle has been and can be quite the turd (couldn’t really phrase that any better, I’m sorry). Look at the situation he had with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and he ended that by going back to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

However, I think in the last year, he’s grown up a lot and is getting out of those angsty, young-adult years and looking toward the future of the man he wants to be. If he’s going to be staying in Genoa City, he will need to grow up and mature in order to fill the screen alongside characters like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or the legendary Victor Newman.
