When Diane arrives in Genoa City, she sets up a meeting with Jeremy. She wants to find out why he’s still here even after he receives money from Jack. Y&R spoilers suggest that he wants to reunite with Diane, so she hints that she’s considering reconciling with him.

Jack lurks nearby as Diane flirts with Jeremy. It makes Jack jealous and sparks a need to protect her from the hardened criminal. He vows then that he must defend Kyle’s mom from this dangerous man.

When Diane returns from seeing Jeremy, Jack greets Diane with a plan. He reveals that he doesn’t want her flirting with him or putting her life in danger. He kisses her passionately. Of course, this is what Diane has been waiting for years. She never thought she would worm her way back into Jack’s life. However, now that she has him protecting her, she isn’t going to let go.

After Jack kissed Diane, he let her know his plan. He said he had a plan to get rid of Jeremy for good. He doesn’t give her any details, but by the sound of it, Jack is going down a dark path to protect her.
