Diane’s presence is a direct threat to Phyllis’ stability. As fans know and Jack should recognize, Phyllis has come a long way since Diane’s previous reign of terror.

Fans, along with Phyllis, can now consider whether Diane has a chance to be with Jack again? While that seems preposterous, Diane’s ability to achieve the impossible can not be discounted.

Telling Phyllis that they are done because she got carried away with Diane is illogical. So, if Jack can recognize that he was wrong to come down so hard on Phyllis, a cooling-off period can begin.

However, Jack remains in a vulnerable state. He only recently learned that his oldest son, Keemo Volien Abbott Nguyen (Philip Moon), died.

Possibly, Jack’s newfound granddaughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), who is a ray of light, will be able to help. She has bonded with her grandfather and has his best interests at heart.

Yes, Diane is the reason Jack and Allie met. But Allie has a good sense and could help Jack achieve a more balanced perspective where Red is concerned.
