The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he was done with her in both a professional and personal capacity. He doesn’t want to be a part of her drama and schemes anymore. When Phyllis called the hardened criminal and gave him Diane’s location, Jack drew the line and cut ties with her.

Jack believes that Phyllis targeted Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and sought to run her out of Genoa City to get back at her for the rocky history. He wants to believe that Diane has changed, and he’s frustrated that Phyllis doesn’t see Diane the way he does.

Phyllis and Jack have a long and complicated history on Young and the Restless. They have always made their way back to each other and fiercely defended one another. Phyllis broke their bond when she had a long affair with Jack’s brother, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). After that, Jack couldn’t trust her, no matter how hard he tried.

Earlier in the week, Jack told Phyllis he was done with her. He doesn’t want to talk to or see her anymore. In fact, he said if it were up to him, he would fire her. Obviously, this upset Phyllis greatly, as she cares deeply for Jack. In Phyllis’s mind, she hopes he reconsiders after he sees the light about Diane.

Y&R Spoilers—Is Phack Really Over?

With Jack declaring that he is done with Phyllis, the Y&R viewers can’t help but feel sad for the once-happy couple. They wonder if Jack will change his mind after we learn more about Diane’s connection to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). There’s growing speculation that Diane and Jeremy are in cahoots and working to swindle Jack out of millions of dollars.

Jack will probably stay angry with Phyllis for a while, but he will eventually forgive her. They share too much history and know each other too well for them to cut ties completely. For now, Phyllis will remain on the outside while Jack works aimlessly to protect Diane from Jeremy.
