Y&R Spoilers: Jack And Kyle’s Plan Spells Danger For Diane

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Jack and Kyle thinking they are doing the right thing, but somehow it all manages to go terribly wrong.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decided they are going to protect Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for Christmas by making Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) believe the woman finally left town. However, they are the ones who hide her out of town at the Abbott cabin.

It’s Kyle who drives her there with every intention of driving back with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) Abbott and young Harrison, and Jack then joining them later so they could surprise Diane and spend Christmas as a family for the first time in years. This is Summer and Jack’s gift to Kyle.

Everything looks perfect when Summer and Kyle return to the cabin with Harrison, who has no idea they are going to see Grandma.

“They’re very excited,” Michael Mealor said in the December 26, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “There’s snow all around, their arms are full of presents, and there are lights on in the cabin. [But], they open the door and there’s no one inside. There’s no sign of Kyle’s mom.”

Finding an empty cabin when Kyle now he left his mom there just hours before has Kyle freaking out that something terrible happened to her. Jack and Kyle thought they were saving her and now this has happened.

“Diane has no car so she wasn’t able to leave and now Kyle is nervous that someone got to the cabin before them,” Mealor told Digest. “Not surprisingly, Kyle’s first thought is Jeremy. Did he show up and do something with Diane.”

That’s a mystery that might go on for a while as it looks like Jack and Kyle’s happy little plan has backfired. Will Kyle start blaming himself since he is the one who left Diane all alone there to begin with? Or is something else going on that doesn’t yet meet the eye?
