The Young & the Restless spoilers are nudging at a hotel war in Genoa City coming soon. The Grand Phoenix being run by hotel proprietor Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been dominating the hotel scene in Genoa City hotel scene for months.

Some notable GC residents have taken up temporary residency at the Grand Phoenix. The GCAC is open or closed depending on who is causing the most trouble without a home in GC.

Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) hotel never opened. Now Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) wants to add to the GC hotel mix that as of now is hardly a mix.

Will Abby & Lily divide & conquer Phyliss & the Grand Phoenix, or, will they team up?

The Young & the Restless has not seen much of Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor versus Phyllis Summers hotel drama since the digging stopped digging.

Phyllis’ & Abby’s back & forth brought Abby to attempt to bring down Phyllis & the Grand Phoenix by opening a hotel across the street in GC.

All that Abby accomplished was some loud & annoying drilling. Her hotel was never built. However, she still must own the land…

Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor is not the only one that wants to get one over on Phyllis. Lily Winters is prime to stir the pot with the woman who previously inhabited a condo on Chesnut Street that her current lover did with Phyllis.

We know that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) used to own the infamous Genoa City Athletic Club. Who owns it now?

It’s apparent Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is destroying the GCAC room by room. Perhaps Lily Winters should make an offer & take on Phyllis Summers head-to-head hotel-wise.

Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor being left out of the loop by her Newman family tree could be motivation to re-boot her hotel build across the street from the Grand Phoenix. Or, Abby’s brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could have something much more productive for his sibling via Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) & not at all Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
