Y&R Spoilers: GC Ladies Plot To Neutralize Diane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) would do well to watch her back as there is a huge target, make that multiple targets, on it. She has traveled back from the dead just as gorgeous as when she left Genoa City, Wisconsin, but it seems that she now has even more enemies and no friends.

What are Nikki Newman (Melody Thoams Scott), Ashley Newman (Eileen Davidson) and Phyllis Summers willing to do to in order to neutralize their mutual threat? A lot! And that does not bode well for the minxy miss. Let’s break down what these three ladies have in store for Diane!

According to Co-EP/Head Writer Josh Griffith, the co-conspirators are not willing to wait for Diane to jinx herself. They are on the warpath and Diane is firmly in their sights. The women think they have a foolproof plan to get Diane out of there hair: Phyllis taking a job at Marchetti in order to keep an eye on their foe. Of course she also gets to work with her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) so among the drudgery hopefully these two can grow even closer.

But could Ashley throw a wrench into this carefully laid plan? She remembers all too well that Jabot was once almost ruined due to backdoor shenanigans. That was when Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) tainted a face cream and the company was nearly destroyed. This is her family’s company after all and she will be reluctant to do anything too dangerous. Is there a spilt in the alliance to take down Diane brewing?

Griffith also notes that Nikki hires a PI to get the goods on Diane during the time she was MIA. This move will have unforeseen consequences when it turns out that a, “surprise connection to the past will have a major impact on all of the players involved,” Griffith spilled to Soap Opera Digest.
