Y&R Spoilers: Dominic Chancellor’s Mysterious Illness

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Dominic Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) mysterious illness will soon have a name, but that will not be a comfort to his family in upcoming episodes of The Young and The Restless!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance And Abby Chancellor Are On Pins And Needles Waiting To Hear

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that after Dominic was taken to the pediatrician for blood tests, his red blood cell count was very low. Chance and Abby Chancellor (Conner Floyd, Melissa Ordway) then had to take Dominic back based on those results for a bone marrow aspiration, with Abby tearing up over worry with what it all meant.

Both parents are worried waiting for those results, as viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine, but for Chance it’s even worse, dealing with his own PTSD and not wanting to admit he has it, and trying to be strong. Chance keeps pushing his fear down so he can be strong for his wife and child but that hero complex isn’t working for him right now. They have been keeping Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in the loop as well, as they should, in case this is something serious, but even normally calm Devon is worried!

Y&R Spoilers – Waiting, Waiting, Waiting Adds To The Young Parents’ Stress

As any viewer of The Young and The Restless who has ever had to wait on the results of medical tests for potentially serious issues knows, the waiting, waiting, waiting for news only adds to the stress! As viewers of The Young and The Restless know, when the medical tests are on a baby or a small child, it is even harder and the worry is even worse; one feels so helpless to cure what ails their child!

Both Chance and Abby are absolutely walking on eggshells, and Abby knows that the stress is difficult for Chance to deal with and walks on eggshells with him as well, while trying to keep herself from panicking about Dominic. Chance had a PTSD reaction while out on the stakeout he went on with Rey Rosales, (Jordi Vilasuso) and he kind of proved to himself that maybe he’s not as ready to go back to work as he thought. Chance is on the edge and any stressor could well put him over it!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Call Comes, And Things Get Even Scarier!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that when bone marrow has to be taken, the doctors usually suspect something pretty serious. Childhood leukemia, types of anemia, suspected cellular disorders, and meningitis are only some of the disorders doctors use a bone marrow aspiration to diagnose, and in a baby Dominic’s age, those are all very scary diagnoses! Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine how frightened that Chance and Abby are to receive a call from Nate Hastings, (Sean Dominic) requesting to come to the Chancellor mansion, along with a specialist, to talk about the results in person!

Certainly, Devon will be called as well if Nate didn’t call him separately – after all the two men are cousins – more than likely however Abby will call Devon to come over also. It is much easier for Devon to hear what Nate and the specialist have to say than for Abby and Chance to try to explain it.
