Y&R Spoilers: Devon’s Anger, Nate Quits

Y&R spoilers show that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is about ready to explode while dealing with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). While he has been trying to do things that would be good for the company, he keeps getting shut down by a grumpy Devon seemingly for a new reason other than Devon goes on a power trip every time he tells Nate no.

While pitching an idea for the new Chancellor-Winters music festival to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Devon will openly shut the idea down even after Jill explains that she loves the idea. Why does Devon keep going after Nate like this and what does it mean for Nate’s future with the company?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Has Had Enough

Nate is tired of dealing with Devon and having everything thrown back in his face. He’s ready to make a stand, but it looks like he may be going a bit too far with this. While this seems like something that could be solved if they just say down and talked with each other, Nate is instead going to abruptly quit.

Dominic told Soap Opera Digest, “Nate doesn’t think he’s taking a risk because he’s convinced that the festival will be a huge moneymaker for Chancellor-Winters. Elena tries to talk Nate out of going forward with his plan until he can get Devon’s approval, but Nate knows that’ll never happen.”

Instead, Nate will be setting all of this up behind Devon’s back until it’s revealed in a video call. Dominic continued to say, “Nate has no choice but to pitch the idea, although he wasn’t planning to. Of course, Devon dumps on it, while Jill loves it. she tells Lily to make the final decision and she decides to table the festival for now, which to Nate means she’s really siding with Devon.”

Y&R Spoilers – Nate Leaves The Meeting

After Lily sides with Devon, Nate gets up and leaves knowing that he will never be taken seriously at this company. He runs in with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to which he shares, “I’m quitting!”.

It’s been a long bumpy road for Nate in this company and perhaps he could take Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) spot at Newman… Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) always did like Nate and had originally offered him a job himself before he went to Chancellor-Winters.
