Y&R Spoilers: Denise Boutte Cast As Temporary Imani Benedict

The Young and The Restless spoilers (Y&R) reveal that there is a temporary casting change to discuss concerning the character of Imani Benedict. Due to a scheduling conflict, Leigh-Ann Rose will be replaced temporarily by Denise Boutte.

Boutte’s credits include BET’s Family Business and Terror Drive, Angie’s Cure and The Missing. She is a voice actor on the animated series Young Justice and she will soon be seen in the Amazon Prime series Kombucha Cure.

Boutte debuts on the number one American daytime drama on Tuesday, September 6. She will step into a role that has been heating up exponentially as minxy vixen Imani comes on to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Nate is taken by Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) but that has not deterred the legal eagle. Imani had her eye on Nate soon after meeting him and has been relentless in going after the forbidden fruit.

Lately she has taken to flattering him up in his battle against Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Y&R spoilers: Imani Is a Tiger

The men are butting heads at work and it looks like things are about to explode, in no small part due to Imani’s meddling. Nate thinks that going from being a surgeon to a business mogul is as easy as pie. Actual mogul Devon disagrees and is unhappy with Nate’s overeager beginner mistakes.

This is where Imani enters the picture, urging Nate to forge ahead and ignore dumbo Devon.

She has been stroking his ego and he is more than receptive to her attentions. This isn’t sitting well with Elena nor Devon and Nate seems bound and determined to prove himself.

Now it’s time to learn more about Denise Boutte as fans wait for her to appear as Imani. The actress also excels as a celebrity chef, and has a new cookbook and a line of flavorful seasonings under her belt.

Boutte is a Louisiana native, born with gorgeous looks and impressive brains! She was her high school’s valedictorian and its Homecoming Queen. She graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Marketing.

Denise was attracted to acting after representing her clients to advertising agencies.
