It’s a tender reunion that fans have waited years to see.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), the person who broke up Danny and Christine’s marriage, is also thrilled to have Danny back so she can feel like a family with him and their son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). With Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) angry at her and planning to spend her holiday with Phyllis’ mortal enemy Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), this is just what Phyllis needs to get into the holiday spirit.

However, the even bigger surprise is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who comes along after them. A year ago, Diane couldn’t even dream that she’d spend a Christmas like this with her son and the man she loved for years. And she has a grandson and daughter-in-law to boot.
