Y&R Spoilers: Coming Clean, Diane Opens Up To Jack About Past

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that since Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has arrived in Genoa City, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been scrambling to make sure nothing from her past comes back to ruin her relationship with her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), which she has been working on mending since her return.

Diane has worked incredibly hard to get back in her son and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) good graces and was making a ton of progress until Tucker returned to town. Now, feeling like she has the upper hand on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in terms of a relationship with Jack, she goes to him and tries to minimize what people are saying about her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Does Her Best To Turn The Attention To Phyllis Summers

While Diane runs to Jack to explain what Phyllis is doing and how she’s being targeted, Jack reminds her of her own deceit and lies and explains why he no longer trusts her. Co-Executive Producer / Head Writer Josh Griffith explained that, “Diane is devastated when Jack admits he made a mistake giving her the benefit of the doubt so easily. Jack shares that he did his best to give Diane a second chance for Kyle but Diane is proving that Jack was wrong to do so. Jack’s instincts are telling him that Diane is not being honest about her time in L.A.,” in an issue of Soap Opera Digest.

Of course, right after this, Diane runs into Phyllis who taunts her about the journalist digging into her history with Tucker. The last thing Diane wants is to lose control of this situation and realizes she needs to up her game in order to compete with the likes of Phyllis.

Y&R Spoilers – Not Going Down Without A Fight

Diane returns to Jack’s office and reveals that there is something she’s been keeping a secret about her time in Los Angeles, but she is ashamed to admit it. She comes clean about her connection to Tucker, but she will stop at nothing in an attempt to make things right and keep things on track with her son and Jack.
