Chelsea has been hoping that she might be able to get Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back. Chelsea and Adam have a complex past and share the love they have for their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Chelsea has been told by her friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to let Adam go. Chelsea has been upset over the time that Adam has been spending with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Chelsea may find that she has no choice but to accept that she has lost Adam to Sally.

Chelsea has not been able to get along with Sally. Chelsea and Sally have not been able to agree with each other while they were working for Adam at Newman Media. Chelsea could not understand that Adam has gotten close to Sally. Adam had helped Sally to get the wedding dress that she designed to his sister Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle). Sally helped Adam when he was trying to go after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Chelsea was jealous of the time that Sally and Adam had been spending together. Chelsea and Sally did not agree with each other over the direction that Newman Fashion had been going. Chloe had tried to get Chelsea and Sally to get along but could see that they could not find common ground because of Adam. Chelsea and Chloe have left Newman Media and are going to work with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Chelsea and Chloe do not want Sally to join them.

Chelsea and Chloe were discussing their new business partnership with Lauren at Society. Sally and Adam were going to have a dinner date. Chelsea was upset that Sally would still be working for Adam. Chelsea may find that Sally and Adam get closer while they are working together at Newman Media. Chelsea may have to accept that Adam wants to have more than a business relationship with Sally. Chelsea has held onto the hope that she might be able to get Adam back but she may have helped to bring Adam and Sally together instead.
