To make that happen, she is pursuing a new career path, cut off a best friend, reconnected with the father of one of her sons, and wants Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) to know that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is his brother.

Chelsea is going for it. She has never been a shrinking violet. But planting a greenhouse worth of flowers and expecting them to bloom is too much too soon.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is Johnny’s father. His role in the potential custody triangle Chelsea is creating will be crucial.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was dishing to her parents about Chelsea’s ask. But Heinle’s character acknowledged that she is not the target.

Chelsea does value Victoria’s responsibility and vital presence in Johnny’s life. She has no issues with Victoria having adopted Johnny or retaining her rightful place as his perceived only mother.

But it is fair to wonder if some fallout from the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) situation will adjust Chelsea’s calculation. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) closed the book on the case. But another self-appointed investigator has not done the same.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Helps The Cause?

Adam is bent on undermining Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) because he believes the Moustache used him. The aggressive assertion is that Victor never wanted Adam to have any real responsibility at Newman Enterprises.

Victoria has long been seen as the chosen one and insider. Adam feels eternally sorry for himself, always deferring to his applied tag as the begrudged party.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) offered Adam a fresh start, with the brothers bonding as they never did in the past. So, that part of Adam’s calculation will likely play some role if Adam opts to publicly expose Nick and Victoria’s places as after-the-fact accomplices to Victor’s cover-up of Ashland’s death.

Chelsea was a surprise addition to Billy’s burgeoning podcast efforts. But Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is encouraging him to shut down that new pursuit.

Whether Billy opts to walk away from what has become a popular set of podcasts remains to be seen. He appears inclined to follow Lily’s lead.

But Chelsea has a history with Billy and remains ever-appealing. Plus, this is daytime, where conflict and romance are in order on Y&R.
