Like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has also been at a crossroads in her life and she begins to realize that being a fashion designer might not be in the cards for her. Now that Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) refuses to work with her anymore, she tells Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that she also has to quit, and then she turns down the job offer from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Now what? Well, maybe she can work with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She did give him some advice to lighten up a bit on his depressing and morose woe-is-me podcast and he thinks she has a point. So, Billy offers Chelsea a role as his co-host to change things up a bit.
This was not something Chelsea had planned to do, but the offer seems too good to be true. Might this be everything that Chelsea has been looking for to move on with her life and get out of her rut?
The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) also feels like is starting anew, at least business-wise. Victoria Newmann (Amelia Heinle) is back in the fold as CEO after she played a dirty trick on Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and finally freed herself of the man. So what if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) now hates him again and feels like he will forever be the slighted black sheep?

Speaking of Chancellor-Winters, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is supposed to be a hotshot businessman now rather than a hotshot doctor. But that doesn’t mean he is always thinking straight. This time he has the wool pulled over his eyes by Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) and this may not end well at all. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) needs to watch her back.
