It feels likely that Chelsea was mostly better last spring when Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was tragically killed in a car accident. That event was jolting for Chelsea because of the radical forgiveness he offered to her.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) have only agreed on two plot points. They were okay with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) going to a Halloween sleepover together and are both concerned about Chelsea.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is dealing with family problems and a fluid moment at Chancellor-Winters due to a needed halting of the planned initial public offering. So, she has not had time to consider Chelsea’s plight.

But Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is being selfish. She, more than anyone alive on the planet, should know that Chelsea’s desire to let Johnny know the truth about her took courage and was not a threat.

But Victoria is a Newman. That clan sees the world from its perspective on downward. So, she is not yet capable of realizing the significant negative impact Johnny’s rejection of her has had on Chelsea.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is A Fallback Option

Adam was Chelsea’s go-to guy on many occasions in recent years. He was also her two-time husband, though they have not been married since 2014.

However, Adam and Chelsea were back together in the recent past. But Adam’s mental breakdown led to Chelsea exposing his plans to physically topple Newman Towers with his family inside the executive suite. That was followed by him orchestrating her kidnapping, which led to her stroke.

The guilt Adam feels for Chelsea’s ongoing struggles is real. He is still in love with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). But she recently dumped him, making another reunion with Chelsea possible.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott’s Direct Connection Matters

Johnny and Chelsea are Johnny’s biological parents, no matter what Mishkind’s character admits or his adoptive mother, Victoria, thinks. This unbreakable tie is important to Billy.

Thompson’s character, like Grossman’s, is rightfully worried about Chelsea. Their shared concern hopefully leads to this unlikely alliance save her from disaster on Y&R.
