Chelsea returned from helping her mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach), recover in Minnesota. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), another of Adam’s provoked nemeses, provided a police escort and bonded with Chelsea because of their shared negative experiences with Adam.

Being back in Genoa City, Wisconsin, was not easy. But Chelsea made her way slowly, steadily, and believing that she and Adam should try to reconcile. Her feelings about Connor needing his parents helped to drive that push.

But Chelsea also realized that Adam remained the love of her life. While Adam cared for Chelsea, she was no longer his top romantic priority. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) momentarily held that top spot.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Has A Rough Year

Chance received an unexpected call and was off. That plot device was used to facilitate the eventual recast of Floyd.

High kudos to Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor) for performing skillfully during a series of plot-fillers that lasted nearly a year until she found Chance survived an attack on his mission. She brought her husband back home and helped him to heal.

This marriage seemed to stabilize in recent months, as Chance gained confidence in being a father to Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). But the conversation Chance has with Chelsea presents a soapy possibility.

An Adam rebound is always possible. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is single but might be on Sally’s radar.

Chelsea had feelings for Rey that were never reciprocated. It felt like TPTB were writing them together at a time in the plot. But Vilasuso’s cast exit ended that option.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Chelsea kissing him during their farewell podcast. That tell indicates Billy was serious about not wanting to explore anything with Chelsea.

So, who will Egan’s character become involved with next? Well, Chance would be a unique option. So, why not on Y&R?
