It feels like TPTB want Lily and Billy together long-term. But will the more mature Lily be able to balance her romantic feelings for him against his agitating nature?

Billy’s main podcast has him projecting various thoughts. It is popular within the soap world.

However, he created an alternate podcast dubbed The Grinning Soul. In it, he masks his voice. Doing so allows another element of his personality to address issues that remain unresolved in his mind.

Thompson began portraying other editions of himself in the recent past when he suffered a mental break, morphing into a film noir-like character. Victoria helped him to come to grips with that mental health issue.

The podcast, which included Lily’s authorization, is a bit kooky. However, fans of this modern communication method know that the platform allows its creators to have unique leeway with audiences.

So, will Lily remain Billy’s supportive fan if he uses the podcast to undercut or damage the merger rollout? The answer is likely no. But Lily can not be expected to eternally tolerate Billy, regardless of whatever slice of his personality he is hiding behind to get his way.
