The last thing Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) ever wanted was to let Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) back into her life considering how much he hurt her the last time around. She never even expected he would have the nerve to show his face in Genoa City again, but here he is and he obviously knows a lot more about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) than he is letting on.

That’s why Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have been essentially coercing Ashley into playing nice with Tucker to see what they could learn about Diane. Ashley has been trying to put them off, but she has met with Tucker a few times now, so why not do it again?

After all, the three women made a pact months ago that they would do what they had to in order to expose Diane and get rid of her, and now might be the best chance they had since their other attempts didn’t work out as planned.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Is Suspicious

Although Tucker is happy that she wants to meet with him again, he is curious as to why all Ashley wants to talk about is his past with Diane. Why is it so important to her and why can’t they just talk about themselves and catch up on the last decade or so?

“Tucker calls Ashley out on being focused on his connection to Diane, but he admits to not being surprised as Ashley made no secret about wanting to find out the truth about Diane,” Eileen Davidson said in the November 7, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest.

So, Ashley drops the Diane subject and then pours it on thick, telling Tucker she has not been able to stop thinking of him. This may be true, but it’s not in the way that Tucker wants to hear. However, it does get them off the subject of Diane.

“When Tucker promises Ashley that he’s a changed man and his feelings for her are since, Ashley challenges him to prove himself to her,” Davidson told Digest. “Tucker accepts the challenge, l, leading to a journey of unexpected twists and turns for these characters.” Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
