Y&R Spoilers: Ashley Sets Tucker Straight

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will agree to meet with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John.) It’s against her better judgment, but she is fully prepared to give him the third degree and make things very clear.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Bad History

Ashley and Tucker’s relationship and short marriage is nothing but a bad trip back in history for Ashley, and bad history at that. She never thought she’d see him again and if she hadn’t have, it would have been too soon. Tucker did nothing but lie, cheat and practice deceit during the time that he and Ashley were married, and she will never trust him again.

Ashley moved on past Tucker long ago and had assumed that he had as well, not having seen him for all those years. It’s been so many years since they were together, the fact that he came back at all is extremely suspicious as far as she’s concerned.

Y & R Spoilers – Laying On The Charm

Tucker tries to lay on the charm, telling Ashley she looks just as beautiful as she did when he first laid eyes on her, but she’s having none of it. She tells him his flowery words and romantic gestures don’t work on her anymore and to lay off of it. She assumes he has some kind of a plot attached to his visit, and all the charm in the world won’t work, she sees through his act. She’s not falling for it and he may as well go back to where he came from because nothing he does or say is going to work. Tucker insists that there is no secret agenda, and he just wants to make amends and asks for forgiveness, to which Ashley remains firmly cold and steadfast.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – No Secret Agenda

Tucker swears on his life he has no secret agenda, and tells her about his near-fatal car accident in Monte Carlo. He tells Ashley the same thing he’s told others in Genoa City, that nearly dying changed his perspective on life and he re-evaluated everything in his life during his recovery. She doesn’t care, and doesn’t trust him and never will, and notes this confession is out of character for him and when he accuses her of apathy she calls it disinterest.

Tucker vows to never hurt her again, but it pretty much falls on deaf ears; she’s . suspicious of the timing, of both he and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returning. But she’ll have a tough call to make when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) want her to get close to him to get intel on Diane.
