Y&R Spoilers: Ashland Grabs His Head In Pain-What’s Next, A Faked Brain Tumor?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and rumors tease Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) may have another health-related scam up his sleeve to elicit sympathy on Y & R. A recent scene showed him grabbing his head and screaming and trashing his hotel room – what’s next, a faked brain tumor?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ashland Locke Has To Come Up With Another Scheme

Locke has to come up with another scheme, that is how he has gotten along throughout his whole life, the first scheme being stealing his teenage friend’s identity and job!  Bobby DeFranco got into a car accident with his friend, the real Ashland Locke (uncast character) and responded to his job offer with Camilla Rhodes (uncast character) with his identification. Later, he and her attorney, Jesse Gaines Sr. (uncast character) changed her will so that Ashland would inherit everything when she died, and Jesse Gaines, Jr. (Jameson Jones) blackmailed him.

Locke’s scheme with the faked lung cancer was what he used to elicit sympathy and love from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) possibly with a long game of getting her money. Instead, she and the Newman family turned it around on him once his scam was uncovered and Victoria finally saw through his schemes and his fake cancer was exposed!

Y & R Spoilers: Headaches And Bizarre Behavior Are A Hallmark Of Brain Tumors

Everyone knows that headaches and bizarre behavior are a hallmark of brain tumors, and Locke has probably studied up on those symptoms too, figuring he could fake those tests too. He still has that clinic in Peru and he also has one in Mexico, and just because a couple of doctors developed guilt complexes doesn’t mean there aren’t others. He still has henchmen loyal to him as well, Stannis (uncredited actor) is one of them, who dealt with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) down in Peru. Locke still has the means and methods to fake another fatal, or perhaps not so fatal disease that he can use to explain his rage and uncontrollable behavior! Benign tumors in the corresponding areas of the brain can cause those symptoms as well as cancerous ones!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: A Get Out Of Jail Free Card?

Y & R spoilers tease that soon Ashland Locke will find himself in a jail cell; could he use his brain tumor symptoms as a get out of jail free card? Everyone knows it is much easier to break out of a hospital than it is a jail, or to get out of prison time by faking psychosis! Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) used that one with Victor’s help, but her time in the psych ward wasn’t fun and it’s doubtful the egotistical Ashland would try that one!

Locke would likely have to have his henchman pre-arrange something for some medical tests to be faked or possibly altered with his name. With Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) no longer working at Genoa City Memorial, it may be easier!

Y & R Spoilers: The Boy Who Cried Wolf?

But what if Locke isn’t faking and his bizarre rages and headaches really are being caused by something serious like a brain tumor, either fatal or benign?  Who in Genoa City is ever going to believe him, would they even check him out at the emergency room? Hospitals and doctors can refuse care but not for things like bad reputations; however they can refuse if the patient either has no insurance or is broke! Locke may be forced to seek medical assistance at the New Hope Clinic built by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)! But then, he has already sort of paid – although Nick kept his donation anonymous!
