It feels like every time Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) has turned around since meeting Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), he has a new secret to confess to her. And nothing has changed now that he’s being played by a new actor. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is getting too close to yet another secret, so now Ashland has to come up with another cover story to explain it all away.

And he has to do this on Genoa City’s Valentine’s Day no less. How rude of Victor to force his hand once again. What does he have to tell Victoria now? That he never had cancer? That he thought he had cancer but he didn’t? That someone else had cancer and he was pretending he had cancer to cover for someone else?

Whatever it is, it will just be one more thing Victoria falls for because she is nowhere near as smart as she thinks. It’s a good thing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) got away from his hot mess of an ex.

Speaking of Billy Boy Abbott, he is much happier away from Victoria’s attitude and perception that she is better than everyone else on Earth. Instead, he is very happily in a relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and while they may be boring, they seem very happy together, so it’s time for them to celebrate Valentine’s Day. What kind of surprises do they have in store for one another?

Victor even takes some time away from trying to figure out what Ashland is all about to provide some romance for his baby, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Who needs their adult children’s troubles on this very special day? Forget about their drama because it’s time for one another. As GC’s premier pair and richest couple, Victor better have something very special in store for his lovely wife. Or does Nikki have something in store for Victor?
