Y&R Spoilers: Ashland Comes Clean With Victoria

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will come clean with Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman Found Out Some Very Interesting Information About Ashland Locke

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been quite suspicious of Ashland’s health lately, and Victor decided to investigate. That “miracle cure” in Peru seemed to work a little too well, and viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victor sent Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on a fact-finding mission. Michael found that Ashland had used a shell company to finance the clinic, and that he was the sole financier – Victor had become especially suspicious that Ashland’s whole “cancer” case is a fake! Michael reported back from Peru that at least the clinic was real – but couldn’t find out a lot more than he already had about the financials. In the meantime, Ashland’s people at the clinic reported back to him that an American was snooping around, and he told them to carry on business as usual; he figured Victor sent him!

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Confronts Ashland Locke On His Findings

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victor confronted Ashland about his findings about the clinic in Peru – although he didn’t really confront him about the cancer diagnosis just yet. That would require more digging into his health information which is not something easily done in the United States although he could possibly get records from the Peruvian clinic. Victor is casual but firm with Ashland as he asks him how he found out about this Peruvian cancer clinic, and becomes more suspicious when Ashland seems to have a pat answer.

Ashland says a friend who was undergoing cancer treatment, before Ashland contracted it, told him about it and he was so impressed he started investing in and funding the clinic. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Victor becomes even more suspicious when Ashland gives him that answer, and suspects the cancer is just another Locke Ness Monster trick to stage a hostile takeover of Newman Enterprises and Newman Media!

By the time he’s found out that Victor is obviously not as trusting of him as he had assumed, Ashland figures he’d better come clean to Victoria before her father does it for him! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Victor opted to not tell Victoria until he had something substantial to tell her with some concrete proof from Michael’s investigations in Peru.

He did tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) though, and just the tax evasion aspects of Ashland’s using shell companies to finance that clinic do not bode well for the type of businessman he really is. Victor may be many things to many people, and longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know that he can be cutthroat when he has to, but a criminal and a tax cheat he is not! Ashland “comes clean” but only as much as he has to, in an effort to throw Victor and Victoria if need be, off the trail!
