Y&R spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) first noticed that Dominic wasn’t well. Abby observed that the baby had pale skin and wasn’t breathing as he should. Abby also became concerned when the nanny mentioned how much Dom had been sleeping.

Of course, Abby made an appointment with the pediatrician. Although Dom seems okay physically, blood tests will indicate something is very wrong.

The doctor will get the results of the blood tests. All that is known so far is that Dom’s red blood count is extremely low. The doctor tells Abby that she needs to get the baby in for more testing right away. The doctor does mention testing Dom’s bone marrow. So, that suggests that Dominic might have a medical condition in which a bone marrow transplant might be necessary.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that if Dom does need a bone marrow transplant, the biological parents will be the first ones tested. However, that might be how Devon finds out that he isn’t the baby’s biological father. It is suggested that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) might have somehow made sure Abby’s baby ended up being his.

It is teased that during Dominic’s health crisis, Amanda will step in to solve a problem. Amanda is in the legal industry, not the medical field. So, what could she do to help Dominic? Co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest,

“Devon and Abby’s new parenting arrangement is challenged when Dominic experiences a medical issue. Amanda will once again prove herself as a supportive partner when she jumps in to problem-solve.”

Amanda might use the same private detective that helped her discover the truth about her family. Perhaps the investigator will be hired to track down the only man that can save Dominic. However, will “Stitch” be found before it’s too late for the baby? Could this redeem the character, who is currently on the run?
