Y&R Spoilers: Adam Undermined, Gains Diane As An Ally

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) switched teams and has accepted the job at Jabot that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) offered him. While this should be one of the best things that have happened to Adam and getting out of the control of his family, particularly his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), there have been new issues.

He now has other people undermining him and making him feel as though he is not welcome. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), as well as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), are always going to not like Adam and won’t even give him a chance. However, he has found one person.

Another person with a tainted past but who has been working hard to make her future better, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has provided some words of encouragement and is thankful to see someone in the building who doesn’t constantly condone everything she does as well.

I don’t know why I never really thought about the similarities between the two, but there seem to be a lot and something that the two can relate to on a personal level. Perhaps their friendship will keep them both there working longer and even shine a good light for Jack, who sees they’re both working hard to be better people.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman The Black Sheep

Unfortunately for Adam, I don’t think this will ever get better. No matter what happens or what he does, he will always be looked down upon and treated like he’s less then. It’s so annoying too. Of course, he has done some terrible things before, but who in Genoa City hasn’t? Haven’t nearly all of them killed people before? Why do they continue to stick their nose up at Adam who has done more to save lives than any of them have?

I hope we see Adam succeed at Jabot, he’s done nothing but been ridiculed and belittled and his idea about bringing back the classic Jabot marketing with Diane and stuff is exactly what the company needs.
