Y&R Spoilers: Adam Returns to New Media, Sally Won’t Give Up CEO Position?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gave up his job and relationship to protect Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). However, at some point, Adam will probably want his job back. With how cruel Adam was during his breakup with Sally, she might not be willing to give back the CEO position. Could this start a bitter war between them?

Adam Newman’s Revenge

Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam exploded when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) came back and reclaimed everything she gave up. Adam knew that Victoria would be back but didn’t think it would be that soon. Adam didn’t have time to prove what he was capable of at Newman Enterprises.

Then, Adam plotted his revenge and quit Newman Media. Adam didn’t want Sally to quit her job but knew the chances were low that they would keep her on.

Y&R Spoilers: Sacrificing Love

Adam decided to break up with Sally in an attempt to save her job. Adam didn’t tell Sally about his plan, though. Adam blindsided Sally with the breakup and what is worst, he was cruel when she called him out on trying to protect her.

Even though Adam has stuck to his guns, it could be a decision he will later regret. Sally loves fiercely but when she is emotionally destroyed, she uses that as fuel.

Sally Spectra’s New Determination

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sally expected to get her pink slip earlier this week. Even though Victoria wanted to get rid of Sally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) suggested the redhead be given a chance.

So, Victoria agreed to let Sally stay as CEO of Newman Media on a trial basis. Victoria made it very clear that she will either sink or swim, especially by hiring Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Sally is determined to prove herself worthy of the position, especially since her heart has been crushed.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Bitter Rivalry?

At some point, Adam will come back to Newman Media. When that time comes, Adam will probably expect to get his CEO position back while Sally serves as his COO. Adam might even consider making Sally co-CEO. However, Sally has been destroyed by Adam’s cruelty. After Sally proves her worth to Victoria, she might not be willing to step down… especially for the man who destroyed her.

By the time Adam tries to “explain” his cruel words, it will be too late. Sally can be rather unforgiving and relentless when her heart is broken. This could set up the former flames to become bitter rivals.
