Adam has long believed that he was given the short end of the stick when it came to the family business. His siblings, meaning mostly Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), have never liked him. Their feelings were not initially justified but became self-fulfilling prophecies.

Victoria was accurately tagged as Victor’s princess. Some referred to her as the Ice Princess. Well, Adam has been promoted to prince.

Adam is not grateful for the elevated title and level of responsibility. He has felt for years that his backstory, intellect, and business mind entitled him to be Victor’s heir apparent.

Victoria strongly disagreed, knowing in her heart that she was the only legitimate candidate to lead the family business into the future. But she recently quit the business in a huff for what seems like the tenth time in Y&R’s history.

Adam has been talking behind his father’s back to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in recent weeks, believing that his oldest sister would falter. Now she has, with Adam sporting a self-satisfied smirk.

Sally tried bonding with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) when she arrived in Genoa City, Wisconsin. While he was drawn to her physical appeal, Jack found Sally’s immature demeanor and penchant for drama too much to bear.

Dumped and momentarily depressed, Sally found a better match in Adam. He was in the process of dumping Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and saw a like-minded opportunist in Sally.

Adam’s efforts to assume power at Newman have been fully backed by Sally. Along with their romantic connection, Adam gave Sally a top title at Newman Media and will take her along for this next ride.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Is Unreasonable

To put it mildly, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) does not suffer what he considers to be disloyalty lightly. So, Victoria’s decision to reconcile with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) naturally produced fireworks.

Adam believes that this time will be different. To a greater degree than Victoria, Grossman’s character sees himself as smarter than Victor.

If Adam is too full of himself, he will be summarily removed with Victor still ready and able to sit at that desk in the executive suite at Newman Enterprises.
