The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) finally couple up and consummate their romantic relationship in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Adam just hired Sally as COO of Newman Media and got Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) approval on his new hire. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that this actually makes Sally more of an equal to Adam professionally, so the issues of boss to subordinate romance that come up are diminished. Sally was thrilled that Adam’s pitch went through, since she had assumed that Victoria would have put the kibosh on it since she jettisoned Newman Fashion. Adam also made sure with Victoria that he had autonomy in hiring, and Victoria just said he’d have to mentor and train Sally and so explained to her there was no “kibosh” to it and the position is official. Sally secretly hopes that her new position might lead to bringing a fashion platform back, but for now they need to celebrate her hire.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless as well as Sally will have noticed that since she’s obtained a position of more power, more equal to Adam’s, he’s become a little flirtier. Sally had made the decision to focus more on herself and her work, and stopped flirting so much with him but notes now it’s kind of had an effect on him, and he’s more interested in her. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that previously, he was her superior but now it’s more like they are closer to equal partners in their positions and that makes an office romance easier as well. It’s Valentine’s Day and Adam and Sally find there is a bottle of champagne that has been delivered to Adam’s office so they decide to pop it open and share it. Each of them thought the other was responsible but then find out it is a gift from an advertiser, and think it’s funny, but it brings to the surface the mutual passion they’ve tried to ignore.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Build Up Turns To Bust Loose

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that the sexual tension between Adam and Sally has been building up for a long time, and as Adam closes the door to his office Sally turns the lock! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will have noticed that both of them have tried to ignore it, and pretending it didn’t exist and pushing it down and not really addressing it at all. This made Sally all the more determined to be with him but he kept shooting her down, and Adam mentions compartmentalizing their feelings again but hesitates at the door – this is when Sally turns the lock! Neither one of them can pretend any longer, and they wind up having passionate sex on Adam’s desk, with video previews showing files flying and the sound of glass breaking, and they knock over a plant in the room!
