Y&R Spoilers: A Sweet Reunion Between Cricket And Danny

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest a sweet reunion between Christine “Cricket” Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Danny’s in Genoa City to visit for the first time in several years, and is contemplating whether or not to give her a call, and suddenly his former wife is there!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Two Go Way Back

The two of them go way back, and haven’t seen each other in almost ten years, and yet, it’s like they just talked that morning. The magic is back like it had never left, and unspoken emotions and words are swirling around them. It’s a pleasant shock for Christine, who knew he was in town but assumed they wouldn’t run into each other, so the timing was absolutely perfect.

Soon, inevitably, they sit down and they start to reminisce, and the flashbacks will be seen onscreen in the episode. They began as friends, but it gradually grew into much more, and the couple was married twice.

Y & R Spoilers – Connection Still The Same

Danny and Christine’s connection is still the same, although Christine is now happy married to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson); Danny and Christine were married twice as she and Paul have been. Along with the happy memories they reminisce about, there are some that are not so happy, such as when Danny cheated on her with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Danny was a rock star on the road and Phyllis was an obsessed groupie, and the only good thing to come out of that was Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Danny found out later Daniel wasn’t even his, but he adopted him and as far as he’s concerned, they are very much father and son. One bad mistake can change a person’s whole life, and even though they haven’t talked about that in years, the hurt is still there on both sides.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Company Comes Calling

As Danny and Christine are still talking, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) show up to meet with Christine about their adoption. Danny and Christine break off their reunion but Danny hangs around Crimson Lights until she and the girls are done, and then they walk out together. Producer Brad Bell teases in the Soap Opera Digest article that when Christine and Danny walk off “into the unknown” maybe something happens or it doesn’t.

Bell continues to tease that maybe down the line viewers will find out if anything happened after Christine and Danny left or not. With a love like that, one never knows.
