The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Really Happened To Ashland?

Although Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) told Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) what they think happened to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), or at least what they witnessed, things are never as they seem — especially where Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is concerned.

With stories seeming weird all around, Chance knows he has to investigate his wife’s family even if he doesn’t want to. And we guess that is ok since most people seem to forget that Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is a Newman anyway. With Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) there to help out, they both uncover something unexpected that can take this police investigation in an entirely new direction.

Meanwhile, Victor remains as secretive as ever when he is questioned about if he did something to Ashland. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) knows his father had to be involved, but once again Victor decides to put his least-loved son in his place. Victor is a very angry man who never admits to doing anything wrong, but Adam is onto him and he may underestimate the son he screws over on a regular basis.

Now that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) has completely accepted the fact that he will never, ever be with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) again because she is married to his sister, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), he can’t get Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) off his mind. The pair already shared a kiss that she also can’t stop thinking about.

So, off they go on a hot date that ends up about other people and not them and their relationship. Instead, they discuss family problems.

We know the Newmans and the Abbotts have their share of difficulties, to put it mildly, but why can’t they get to know one another by talking about their own personal histories?
