Y&R Spoilers: A Big Attack? Phyllis Corners Jack

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that there’s a “big Jack attack” in the offing when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) corners Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Phyllis will corner him and might accuse him of stopping Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) articles about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) but he won’t have an answer.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) were talking with Talia about the successful exposé on Diane’s past when she got a text from her managing editor. Talia was as shocked as Phyllis and Nikki was when she told them he put the kibosh on the series, which was to have been several more articles. Talia had no idea why he would want to cancel a series with so much promise and so much potential readership, but unbeknownst to her, he also texted Diane.

Diane had no idea who the mysterious text came from or how he or she got her cell phone number; but it said she owed them. The text said all future articles were killed.

Y & R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Suspects

Phyllis knows that Jack’s sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is an author of several successful books and bets she knows Talia’s editor, and bets she gave Jack his contact info. Jack already figured Phyllis was behind the article along with Nikki, although she denied it; as for Diane, she answered the text and warned the texter to cease contact. Diane texted back to the mystery person that things were still precarious and it was a bad time to contact her.

As for Phyllis, she isn’t happy that once again Jack has sided with Diane against her, and intends to confront him about it. Phyllis wanted the whole series to run, and hoped to run Diane out of town and get her fired from Marchetti.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Baseless Accusations

Phyllis certainly is doing nothing to win her war with Diane over Jack by throwing baseless accusations at him regarding stopping the series of articles on Diane. He has no earthly idea what she is talking about, as Diane hadn’t mentioned the text she got to him. Phyllis isn’t scoring any brownie points with Jack by proving she was the instigator behind the juicy exposé, which she knew was only getting started before the series was cancelled.

Jack is not happy when he tells Phyllis that all her hard work, even going as far as selling her hotel to work with her daughter wasn’t successful. Plus, he now knows that the only reason she wanted to work at Marchetti was so she could be on the inside to ruin Diane, and it backfired.
