Y&R Preview: Sally Dumped, Ashley’s Scheme, Ashland’s Jailhouse Assault

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 18 reveal that the preview shows some exciting scenes coming up. First up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) dumps Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) teams up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is choked in jail.

Y&R spoilers for the week of July 18 reveal that the preview clip shows Sally is left with a broken heart. Adam doesn’t just break up with Sally, though. Adam does it in a cruel and heartless way, inflicting the most pain possible. The way Adam goes about it is intended to make Sally hate him. While Sally is heartbroken and stunned, she also might not fall for it.

Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman’s Sacrifice

In the preview clip, Adam bluntly tells Sally that she is standing in the way of everything Adam wants. Of course, fans know that right now, Adam wants revenge. However, Sally keeps trying to rein Adam in. Plus, Adam knows that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make Sally even more of a target if they are together.

Ashley Abbott’s Scheme

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 18 reveal that Phyllis isn’t alone in her quest to get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Even though Phyllis is losing certain people in her life, she’s gaining supporters as well.

It was originally believed that Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) would join forces. While the two women do try to reason with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), it appears another player gets involved.

The preview clip shows Ashley and Phyllis might scheme together. This comes on the heels of the report that Ashley and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) could have a feud. Obviously, all of this centers around Diane.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ashland Locke Choked

The final scene in the preview shows Ashland in jail after Diane set him up to violate the restraining order. Ashland is behind bars when he gets a visit from Victor. The Newman patriarch puts his hands through the bars, violently grabs Ashland’s shirt collars, and issues a threat. So, what happens when Ashland gets released?
