Kate Linder debuted as Esther way back in 1982. For decades Esther was the devoted if somewhat ditzy housekeeper and friend to Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). When Katherine died she left a portion of her portfolio to Esther.

Let’s hope that this new man in her life is not a con man out for her money! Esther is a sweetheart and it would be a shame to see her get mixed up with the wrong kind of guy. She deserves happiness!
