Y&R Spoilers: Michael Accept New Assignment; Is Ashland Locke Really Dead?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will accept a new assignment from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) this week on Y & R. Victor might task him with finding out if Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is really dead.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Mysterious Disappearance

There was a mysterious disappearance that stormy night that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) defended his sister from the Locke Ness Monster, as Locke bore down on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Nick snuck in through the back door when Victoria didn’t answer her phone, and found her with a fireplace poker pointed at the much larger man. Locke was off the rails as Nick first punched him, then knocked him down where his head landed on the fireplace, and he didn’t get up.

Victoria gave her ex CPR, but he didn’t revive, and there was blood under his head; it looked like a lot of blood. She and Nick went outside in the yard to discuss next steps, and when they returned inside, Locke was gone.

 Y & R Spoilers – Dead Or Alive – Where’s The Body?

Victoria seemed to be ready to just make Locke’s body disappear, they knew it was an accident but ready-to-do-right Nick wanted to call 911. They compromised and Victoria called brother-in-law Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) on his personal number and didn’t make it a police case.

But Ashland was already gone; they aren’t sure how to proceed now, and Chance is on his way and there’s no body. Victor will have to do some damage control and he’ll want to protect Victoria at all costs, not knowing what happened to the Locke Ness Monster for sure. According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Victor decides to put Michael on the case to find out what happened to the body and if somehow Locke left on his own power.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke’s Henchman Has Disappeared

One thing Michael picks up on right away is that Locke’s henchman Stannis (Bill Sebastian ) has disappeared, and he and Victor wonder if he was also on Victoria’s property. If so, even though Victoria swears she found no pulse and there was a good bit of blood it may not have been enough to kill him. Victoria and Nick both said Locke fell on the side of his head but the blood didn’t appear to be coming from the temple area and it wasn’t a gusher.

The theory is that Stannis could have been on property and came into the house and took the body, or took Ashland for medical assistance while Nick and Victoria were outside. If Nick could enter through an open back door so could have Stannis, probably after they left out the front door.

 Y & R Spoilers – Michael Baldwin Sets Out To Find Stannis

Michael sets out to find Stannis first because that’s probably who has Locke – somewhere. They already know from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that the two had been in Chicago previously in between Locke’s trek from New York back to Genoa City.

Victor agrees that’s a good place to start, and makes sure that Victoria’s house is protected as well – Locke could be trying to fake his death and show up. He and Nikki Newman may also try to convince Victoria to bring the kids and stay at the ranch even though she cherishes her independence; it’s just safer that way. The question of Locke’s survival must be answered before any other steps are taken.
