That’s right. A teenage Elizabeth arrived in Port Charles a quarter of a century ago to live with her step-grandmother Audrey Hardy (Rachel Aames), who has taken care of her and her kids ever since without even being blood-related. The only other members of Liz’s family we have seen have been various siblings and half-siblings, like Sarah Webber (Jennifer Skye), Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), and Steven Webber (Scott Reeves). But where have her parents been?

In 25 years, how could this woman’s parents have never shown their face in Port Charles or even acknowledged their three grandchildren. They can’t call? Hop on a plane and visit? Their only contact is sending Jake Webbe (Hudson West) a message via social media? In 25 years? It has never made any sense and has been a source of frustration for Elizabeth fans for years. With such an anniversary coming up, why not just do it now?

GH Spoilers – Needs To Give Elizabeth Webber And Fans A Gift

It’s like Elizabeth and the fact that she had parents out there have fallen by the wayside in GH writers’ minds for 25 years. It looks like the show will finally go there now with several mentions of Jeff Webber and his wife, Caroline, over the last few months.

While we do not think they are stalking their own daughter, it’s possible something that happened to her while she was still young and being raised by then could have triggered a latent alternate personality with Liz really doing these things to herself.

Once that is discovered, her parents might be necessary to make her whole again. And it will finally explain everything about a beloved character who has been a staple of this soap for 25 years. It’s what fans have been asking for over decades and what Elizabeith and GH viewers deserve.
