Todd and Julie Chrisley continue to believe that, in the words of their reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best. And so the spouses refuse to accept responsibility for their crimes. But Todd’s and Julie’s ex daughter in law didn’t hold back her views on the law-breaking reality TV couple.

Bonnie and Clyde became infamous for robbing banks during the Great Depression. And as Todd and Julie Chrisley’s ex daughter in law considers the Chrisley Knows Best couple’s crimes, she noted parallels. But Todd and Julie outdid Bonnie and Clyde by taking advantage of modern day technology.

As a result, the couple’s former daughter-in-law, who is Kyle Chrisley’s ex-wife, Alexus Whilby, analyzed the prison sentence for the Chrisley Knows Best stars. “I think their sentencing was light considering their total lack of accountability,” said Alexus. “It’s highly likely they thought this was also going to pass,” she added according to Yahoo.

Although the Chrisley patriarch, 53, and matriarch, 49, tried to seem innocent, Alexus disagrees. And she contends that both Todd and Julie “were aware of what they were doing.” Moreover, she pointed to the jurors’ verdict.

Julie And Todd Chrisley – Lied To ‘Everyone,’ Claims Alexus

As Kyle Chrisley’s former wife looks at the court case, she pointed out the evidence. And she noted, “The jurors saw evidence that proved that they knew that what they were doing was wrong.” In addition, Alexus listed all the lies that Todd and Julie allegedly told.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars “lied to obtain money from loans. They lied about their wealth to everyone. They’re the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde.” And she also pointed out how they hid their illegal activities for so long. “Todd and Julie were very tight-lipped about why they do the things they do,” shared Alexus.

Following convictions of tax fraud and tax evasion, Todd received a 12-year sentence in prison. And Julie will spend seven years behind bars. But although Kyle’s ex wife slammed the Chrisley Knows Best couple, Kyle himself offered a different reaction.

After Kyle learned of Todd’s and Julie’s prison sentences, he turned to his Instagram Stories. And he shared a message from the Bible. “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you,” read the verses that Kyle shared. “Who do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”
