Take a look inside the prisons where the two Chrisley Knows Best stars will live. And find out whether Todd and Julie will experience similar structures in their new homes. Get all the details below.
Counting down the weeks! As Chrisley Knows Best fans know, Todd and Julie Chrisley used to enjoy marking parties, family events, and work highlights on their calendars. But now one date looms on the Chrisley Knows Best stars’ calendar: January 17. On that date, Julie and Todd will turn themselves into two different prisons in Florida, according to the Insider.
The Chrisley Knows Best stars will spend a combined 19 years behind bars for their fraud sentence. One will head to FPC-Pensacola and the other to FCI Marianna SCP. And it means a temporary farewell to their two younger children in particular. Todd and Julie have been raising their 16-year-old son Grayson and their 9-year-old granddaughter Chloe.
However, while her parents are in prison, their older daughter, Savannah, has promised to take care of both Grayson and Chloe. Todd, dubbed the “mastermind” of the intricate bank fraud and tax scheme, will spend 12 years behind bars. And Julie will remain in prison for seven years.
For Todd Chrisley, the prison sentence requires a trip to FPC-Pensacola. The minimum security prison holds more than 352 male prisoners. And Todd can spend time in various activities.
For instance, the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch’s prison includes fitness, weight training, intramural sports, crafts, and music. Todd can improve his fitness with activities such as racquetball, bocce ball, and horseshoes. And once a week, the 53-year-old can even watch movies.
In contrast, Julie will head to FCI-Tallahassee. The Chrisley Knows Best matriarch will stay at a facility with more than 1,200 total inmates. And some of the activities from which she can choose resemble Todd’s options. For example, Julie can enjoy intramural sports, art, aerobics, and music.
The prison sentences come in the wake of Todd’s and Julie’s convictions in June. The Chrisley Knows Best stars faced accusations of defrauding banks out of more than $30 million. And the two allegedly created false financial statements. As a result, they appeared wealthier than the reality of their financial states.
Tell us what you think. Do you feel that Todd and Julie Chrisley deserve the combined prison sentences of 19 years? And what do you think about the descriptions of their individual facilities? After you share your views, check back on our site for more reality TV news.
