The Young & The Restless’ Hunter King Set To Star In Several Hallmark Projects

Actress Hunter King, who soap fans know best for her role as Summer Newman, has struck an exciting deal to star in several projects for the Hallmark Channel. The 29-year-old recently left the CBS soap opera behind with her alter ego being recast. Now she’s on a whole new network with a slew of projects.

Hunter has since appeared in the Hallmark movie Hidden Gems where she starred alongside Beau Mirchoff (Good Trouble). The California native took on the new role as Addie, a young woman who loses her grandmother’s ring in the ocean while in Hawaii. Desperate to get the family heirloom back, she is forced to get help from a scuba instructor played by Mirchoff. The two clash at first but after spending time together they find love.

After starring in the Summer Nights programming, King went on to appear in Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths that aired over the summer on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel. Now fans are looking forward to seeing Hunter King on their screens come this holiday season. Yes, Hunter is part of the beloved Christmas line-up. She is set to star in A Royal Corgi Christmas.

Y&R Spoilers – Former YATR Star Grateful For What’s To Come

“I feel so incredibly grateful and lucky to be part of the Hallmark family! Growing up, I would drive past Hallmark’s headquarters nearly every day and dream about getting the chance to be in one of their movies some day,” said King. “Getting to make three Hallmark movies this year has already been so amazing and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I get to be in Hallmark movies for a living! Are you kidding me? Is this real life?”

The Young & The Restless – A Royal Corgi Christmas Set To Air This November

Hunter King will star in the special Christmas movie scheduled to air this November. King will take on a lead role opposite Jordan Renzo. Hunter will play an American dog trainer named Cecily who is tasked in helping a prince. While Hunter King is thrilled about her new relationship, the network is as well.

“Hunter King brings such a spark to each role she brings to life and has been a wonderful addition to the Hallmark family,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Hallmark Media. “We’re thrilled to continue to work with Hunter and know viewers will be completely charmed by her performance in A Royal Corgi Christmas.”

A Royal Corgi Christmas will air on Friday, November 25th.
