It’s hard to know how to feel about complicated Nate. His life as a surgeon was cut (see that) short when he tussled with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and injured his hand.

Devon allowed Nate to come on board at Chancellor-Winters and immediately the latter began challenging the former. To be fair, Devon is wound tightly on a good day, and he really was a Debby Downer to his new hire. Then again, should Nate have been more respectful to the more experienced mogul?

Both men should probably have conceded a bit. Now Nate is entering the same failed territory, taking a role in the C-Suite without any qualifications. When he found out about his sister’s brash and sassy move, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) pointed out that Nate has less experience than Sally did. Ruh roh.

At least Sally tried to fit in, will Nate bring his bull in the china shop mentality to his new gig?

Then again, if an unfettered Nate has huge success at Newman Media what does this mean for Devon?

In the end Nate is a traitor, albeit a gorgeous one. He came clean to Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) but no one can trust him at this point. Has Victoria gone and put a disloyal rogue in at NE? Why not, she installed the Locke Ness Monster (Robert Newman) and we all saw how that turned out. Tell us again why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) keeps giving dimwit Victoria second chances?

Explosive show spoilers reveal that Sally could end up getting her job back, is inept Nate on another collision course with disaster? How will Victoria handle it if she must eat crow and beg Sally to come back?
