The Young And The Restless Star Michael Graziadei Talks About Michael Damian, And Daniel’s Future

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei) is hiding a secret, suggesting he could be working with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to snag Chancellor-Winters from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). At this point, it’s only viewer speculation, but Michael Graziadei’s interview sure seemed to confirm that at least that’s partly true.

Graziadei said in an interview with Michael Fairman, it was great to see Michael Damian, who plays his on-screen dad. He revealed they had stayed in contact, but he hadn’t seen him in a long time. He said that the whole cast was thrilled to see Damian, and many hoped he would stick around for a longer storyline.
Graziadei teased that Damian might be the only one that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will listen to, so his return could involve a reality check for his on-screen mom.

When Michael Fairman asked Graziadei to name his favorite storyline, he struggled to come up with one. After thinking, he said it was Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death. He liked that it had a real-life message and addressed a big problem for teenagers. Not to mention, the storyline led to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis’s romance, which he thinks is one of the hottest couples in Y&R history.

Michael was careful not to reveal too much about his storyline. He joked that he doesn’t know much about what’s ahead. He knows that Daniel is hiding something from everyone, and he wants to reconnect with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). He isn’t sure if that’s a romantic connection or if he’s just comfortable with Lily.

As for his career, he’s trying to find his new project, and with his marriage on the rocks, he feels lost. There’s the speculation that he’s working with Tucker to bring CW down. Michael wouldn’t confirm or deny, just teased that the fans would be shocked at his true motives.
