The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could break up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and reunite with Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei). If Danny plans to stick around in Genoa City, it only makes sense that the writers’ will pair him with Lily.

Billy has spent much of his free time with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). He isn’t having an affair with her. Instead, he’s trying to support her as she recovers from attempting suicide.

At any rate, his connection to Chelsea is a sore spot for Lily. Whenever Chelsea calls Billy to talk, he immediately rushes to her side. The situation created tension between Billy and Lily, which gave Danny an opening to rekindle a romance with his high school sweetheart.

Based on how Lily reacted to seeing Danny in Genoa City, they could have unresolved feelings for each other. Y&R viewers saw Lily grinning from ear to ear when she saw her ex at the club.

With Billy focused on Chelsea, Lily must feel neglected. Lily told Billy that she didn’t feel jealous of Chelsea. Instead, she’s concerned that he can’t deal with Chelsea’s complex mental health issues.

The Y&R preview for the Week of November 28 showed Danny interested in a job at Chancellor Winters. Getting a job there would put him in constant contact with Lily, which could rekindle a romance.

The more Billy neglects Lily to help Chelsea, the more likely a rekindled romance between Lily and Daniel could happen. Danny told Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that his relationship with his wife is not good, suggesting they could be talking about getting divorced.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Jason Thompson Leaving Young And The Restless?

Thompson hasn’t announced that he plans to leave Y&R. However, that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible. For all we know, it could be the beginning of his exit storyline, with his final episodes airing later in the year.

Of course, the writers’ could plan to pair Billy with Chelsea or reunite him with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). It seems unlikely that an iconic character like Billy would exit the show.
