The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Epic Y&R/B&B Crossover, Nikki And Deacon Conspire Against Diane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that there will be a reunion of sorts for bad boy Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe, The Bold and the Beautiful) and former bad girl Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman).

According to TV Insider, Deacon heads back to Genoa City in a crossover on September 20. He meets up with his ex-wife in Genoa City, Wisconsin and it gets better—Nikki crosses over to the LA based B&B sudser the following week.

CBS’ The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful are sister soaps who have treated fans to crossovers since 1992. So, what brings Deacon back to GC?

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is back from the dead. Nikki “killed” her and Deacon was Diane’s accomplice in ditching Genoa City. He’s got some ‘splaining to do! Both actors talked to the outlet, keep reading to find out the juicy details on what to expect when the characters come crashing together.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki’s First Visit To B&B

Melody Thomas Scott sets the scene by painting a picture of Deacon and Nikki’s relationship: “Deacon was nothing but trouble for Nikki right from the start; not only did he lead her to fall off the wagon but destroyed her marriage to Victor at the time. Nikki realized Deacon was bad news and got him out of her life, but not until after he manipulated her into marrying him!”

In Deacon’s defense, he is turning his life around, starting with getting out of prison and reconnecting with his daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Not so fast though, Nikki will be on her guard: “A leopard doesn’t change its spots, so Nikki does not expect to find a changed man when she reconnects with Deacon. Deacon will see that Nikki is much stronger (and sober) than when they were together and that she is calling the shots this time.”

Scott added, “Deacon did some pretty terrible things to Nikki during their time together but allowing her to take the fall for Diane’s “death” was heinous and unforgiveable. Diane almost destroyed Nikki’s life in faking her own death and Nikki is determined to make her pay…with a little help from Deacon Sharpe.”

Y&R spoilers – Epic Crossover Involves Sheila Carter

Kanan responded by saying that, “He’s genuinely remorseful for helping Diane [let Nikki think she’s a killer]. He wants to make amends; Nikki’s not interested but she is interested in getting information.”

Nikki is a wise woman—while Deacon is tryna be good, he is drawn to the dark in the form of Sheila Carter played by Kimberlin Brown. The character has appeared on both B&B and Y&R.

Of this Kanan says, “Deacon has gotten sucked into something that wasn’t of his own construct with Sheila; Sheila’s pretty adamant that she’s staying there. She’s proved herself to be dangerous. Deacon could just run away and go tell the cops, I guess; but Sheila’s got a long reach; he’s between a rock and a hard place.”

Aside from the dynamic between Nikki and Deacon, Scott previews that she will appear with Eric Forrester (John McCook) during her crossover. John played Lance Prentiss on Y&R before joining B&B so in real life the actors really are like one big happy family, which is appropriate since the soaps were created, and helmed to this day, by the Bell family.
