Hollywood news and updates tease that Sandra Bullock gave praises to Channing Tatum’s body structure as he prepared for a physical scene in their movie.
“The Lost City,” which is now showing in theaters, is all about a romantic novelist named Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock), who’s kidnapped by Abigail Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe), a young billionaire, who hopes she can lead him to the treasures hidden in the lost city, just like how Loretta represented in her latest book.
The popular book cover model, Alan (Channing Tatum), who looks for a real-life adventure, immediately responds to rescue the author as he tries to prove that “he’s more than just a good-looking face for a book cover.”
Sandra Bullock – Says Channing Tatum Has An “Incredible Willpower”
In their recent appearance on “The Late Late Show,” Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum talked about their experiences while filming their new movie and how the “Dog” actor prepared for a physical scene.
Tatum revealed that he has been following a strict diet and some intense workout routines to look great on-screen for a particular scene in the movie, where his butt is covered with leeches. He also mentioned his “heavy rehearsals” for his upcoming movie “Magic Mike 3.”
With all of Tatum’s physical efforts, Bullock praised her co-star’s discipline when it comes to working out. She even revealed that the actor’s body felt like “a tree” when she embraced him in their movie. “He’s really disciplined. He has incredible willpower,” the 57-year-old actress told host James Corden.
‘The Lost City’ – Gains $31 Million Over the Weekend
Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum’s romantic comedy and action-filled movie “The Lost City” earned $31 million at North American theaters over the weekend.
According to the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, David A. Gross, it was an “excellent opening” for a romantic comedy film, especially since the rom-com genre has been declined for so many years. “The combination of the big cast plus crowd-pleasing romance plus comedy plus adventure has worked before, and it’s working again,” he said.
Chris Aronson, Paramount’s president of domestic distribution was surprised with the outcome, especially since “The Lost City” was filmed in the Dominican Republic during pandemic times, and it cost $68 million. “This has exceeded any of my expectations. It’s great to see us and Bullock and Tatum rewarded for taking a risk,” he stated.
